Lim Hun Teik

Director

Lim Hun Teik, a Malaysian aged 56, serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Milan Utama Sdn. Bhd. He was first appointed to the Board on 28 January 2014 during the company’s incorporation. Following a strategic shift in the business direction, he resigned on 29 September 2020 but was subsequently reappointed on 18 May 2023. Mr Lim holds a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management from Midwest Missouri University, earned in 2008.

His journey with the Group began in September 2005 when he joined Amtel Cellular Sdn. Bhd. (AMCSB) as a Senior Business Development Manager. His exceptional contributions led to his promotion to Assistant General Manager in 2009, and later, he advanced to become the Chief Executive Officer of AMCSB. In 2020, he was also appointed as a Director of Amtel Holdings Berhad.

Throughout his tenure, Mr Lim has played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence. His responsibilities have included overseeing daily operations, fostering partnerships with business partners and customers, and implementing company guidelines and policies to uphold the highest standards and best practices.

With over 30 years of experience in quality engineering, project management, and business development, Mr Lim brings a wealth of expertise to the Board. Prior to joining AMCSB, he held the position of Business Manager at Soarway Enterprise Co., Ltd, where he honed his skills in managing and expanding business operations. Mr Lim’s extensive experience and strategic leadership continue to contribute to the success and growth of Milan Utama Sdn. Bhd.
